Nigeria: 30 textile workers die waiting for benefits

The National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria said it had lost 30 members who died waiting for their entitlements. In a statement in Kano, the union said the workers, who worked for Gaskiya Textile Ltd., Kano, died because of the hardship they faced from non-payment of their entitlements after the firm was shut in 2005.
